I wrote this after visiting friends, Linda and Russ Colombo, in East Marion on the north fork of Long Island. This is my favorite vacation spot. It is very peaceful with many animals. Linda always looses the battle with the squirrels and the bird feeder suspended high in the trees, thus the comedy show and high wire act.

The Summer House On Long Island

The summer house
is full of common folks.
The Deer family has always resided there
and of course, the Swans with their ruling patriarch.
Besides the sound, lake, canoes and boats
at the summer House
there is a daily bird musical
and swan ballet.
Plus you can enjoy a comedy show
high wire act
or a nightly star extravaganza.
at the Summer House.
Simply the best.
