I wrote this after meeting Gene and finding love again in my late 60s.

New Love

With my eyes closed,
I see everyday things again.
I hear common sounds
and
Everything tastes so divine.
I feel alive and excited.
You have brought color, music and love
Back into my life.
My cheeks are rosy,
There is a smile on my face,
I sing out for no reason,
And I dance around the table.
All because of you.
