I wrote this when my soon to be ex daughter-in-law tried to tell me something negative about my son Andy.
I never gave her this poem and you will see why when you read it.
There was no effort in writing this. My pen flew with the words and when I read it, I read it quickly and with much emotion.
Mother's Love
Snapping to attention like a cat on a June bug
Mother's love
Is quick, intense, fierce, proud, defensive, strong, fearless and everlasting.
It doesn't matter if he is your husband.
He was my baby first.
"Don't mess with my baby."
