If you have picky eaters in your family, as I did when my children were little, then here is a tip for you: House rule, you don't have to eat it if the dog doesn't. Fortunately for me our dog, a little Pomeranian named Bo, ate everything. I can only remember two times my boys got out of eating dinner, a Mexican casserole and rice a roni, green olive and curry dish.

Later when my sons were grown, I learned they did not eat their lima beans either but threw them out the window. So I will add another tip: Keep windows closed during mealtime.
