This picture is the result of my curiosity. What will happen if I tried to paint with tattoo ink? A fellow artist asked why did I try that. I answered because I have never done it before and I liked the brightness of the ink colors and I want to see how the ink moved.
Everyone advises you to follow your passion but what if you don't know what your passion is? I knew my passion in my younger years because I had a wonderful and full career as a nurse practitioner but now that I am retired, I can't find my passion. I go from one medium to the next. So as Elizabeth Gilbert suggests I am following my curiosity which might lead to my passion but if it doesn't I will have fun along the way.
