One of my favorite love poems is a Japanese lyric:

Two Things
Cannot Alter,
Since Time Was, Nor Today
The Flowing of Water;
And Love's Strange,
Sweet Way.

Gene and I are a testament to "Love's strange, sweet way."
In our twenties, would we believe that our most passionate and true love would happen in our sixties, seventies and eighties? I think not but it did. Thank you Gene for loving me like no other.
